Privacy Policy

Gyminder collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no network connection, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Everything the app stores stays on your device, under your control.

The short version

• We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
• Gyminder has no backend and makes no network requests to us or anyone else.
• There are no accounts, logins, or sign-ups.
• There are no analytics, advertising, trackers, cookies, or third-party SDKs that send your data anywhere.
• All of your workout data lives only on your device.

What the app stores on your device

To work as a coach, Gyminder saves the following locally on your device only (in the app’s on-device storage). This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us:

• Your training profile: experience level, goal, available equipment, and preferred units (kg/lb).
• Your workout history: exercises, sets, reps, and weights you record.
• Your settings: theme and any custom set/rep overrides.
• The state of an in-progress workout, so it survives closing or reopening the app.

None of this is account data and none of it is tied to your identity. It is stored so the app can show your history and plan your next session.

Rest-timer Live Activity

When you start a rest timer, Gyminder can show it as a Live Activity in the Dynamic Island and on your Lock Screen. This runs entirely on your device using Apple’s ActivityKit. No timer or workout information is sent to any server — there is no push server involved.

Health and fitness data

The workout numbers you enter are fitness data, and they are treated like everything else in the app: stored only on your device and never transmitted. Gyminder does not read from or write to Apple Health (HealthKit), and does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

How to delete your data

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are always in full control of it:

• Use “redo setup” in the app to reset your profile.
• Deleting (uninstalling) Gyminder permanently removes all of its on-device data.

There is no copy of your data anywhere else for us to delete, because we never receive it.

Children’s privacy

Gyminder does not collect any data from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
